Bram StokerI was raised in a Sixteenth Century farmhouse in Yorkshire that was reputed to be haunted. I never saw the ghost myself but had great fun scaring house guests out of their wits with made up stories on dark, windy nights. My favoured genre is horror and I make no excuses for that. The child, as they say, is father to the man and I wish to remain true to that small boy who found his true vocation in a wind swept Yorkshire farmhouse all those years ago. |

Hollister DeLongHollister DeLong (birth name Don Guyett), born on St. Patrick’s day 1952 to a Northern Vermont dairy farmer is the fourth of five sons . He grew up with a love of the land and all the outdoor activities. Graduation from high school saw him move to Boston to further electronic training to upgrade his FCC Broadcast license. DeLong had worked as a radio announcer for the previous three years and felt it an excellent vocation. The school turned out to be a scam and closed, leaving DeLong pumping gas all night long in Brookline, MA. It was while working there that he became friends with most of the night shift from the Brookline PD. Many of them came up to Vermont to hunt, which became a natural common ground. This grew to the point that DeLong decided he might wish to pursue a career in Criminal Justice. Coincidentally, a good friend of one of the Sargeants was initiating a Criminal Justice program at Champlain College in Burlington, VT. DeLong headed back to Vermont and graduated in the first CJ class at Champlain College. While there, he met his first wife. The resulting marriage found DeLong moving to Southern Vermont, where it was a career in sales, not police work that awaited. It was during this time that DeLong started doing some writing, articles for some local papers about hunting and fishing. The marriage, one of four, lasted ten years. His desire for writing continued. Subsequent marriages found DeLong continuing to be in marketing but living in a variety of places, including Southern New Mexico, which he has adopted as his home. Currently living in Upstate New York, he and his wife and son are planning on moving to New Mexico within the year. He contributes the love of his wife and oldest son with finally getting the novel out of manuscript form. Although initially completed in the fall of 1995, several divorces and a debilitating bout of Lupus forced a long delay. Although DeLong considers himself a strong Christian, he attributes his multi-faceted journey through life to a saying that comes from |

Yago NovoI was born in Havana, Cuba. I grew up in Matanzas, a beautiful seaside town about one hundred miles East of Havana, home to so many artists, poets, writers, and musicians that it has been called The Athens of Cuba. I moved to Madrid, Spain when I was seventeen; by then I had already written one full length novel (which unfortunately has been lost forever) and several short stories, some of which I still have. My writing at that time was done in Spanish, but then in 1980 I moved to Miami, Florida, where I have lived until today. My first work in English was a short story entitled "Confession". After that first attempt, I have written many short stories, both in English and Spanish, and a full length novel, "Trial and Error", which is available in this site. I am a practicing attorney in South Florida where I live with my wife and children. |
